Rita Gallé, born in Sicilia started her sculptor and painter carrer in the 1960s.
Rita created unique pieces of work in ceramic, and continued to use this media throughout her career. In addition to being a respected sculptress, Rita was attracted by the applied arts and also produced jewellery and furniture. She died in Oaxaca, Mexico, in 2009.
